The Gingham class of bowl and vessel design uses word colors in a pattern based on textile gingham plaid pattern. It’s a subclass of Plaid, in that it uses the same principle of intersecting colors produce a mixed/blended new color, but the geometric pattern is uniform. Think of a red and white gingham tablecloth in a classic, small Italian restaurant.
